NBSC has played host to several events since launch, seeing visiting competition from neighbouring islands's sports clubs, and becoming an additional offsite venue for other prestigious pro-am tournaments hosted on nearby islands. Check through our list of facilities and also those of our sister Sugarcane Resaurant. If there's an event you'd like to host with us, we have the venue and staff to make it happen.
We are the only place on the island with two world-class squash courts that have a moveable partition to create a doubles court. Play this fast-hitting game with friends before a dip in the pool and a well-deserved drink at the bar. We have organised evening tournaments, and sometimes weekend competitions against other squash clubs from neighbouring islands. Book our court in its entirety, for a anything from a hard fought 3 set battle with a deadly rival, to a gentle knock-up with loved ones in the balmy evening sunshine. Most Thursdays, those of a sporting nature may descend upon the court to engage in a slightly less formal tennis evening, where regulars play in mixed groups of varying ability. What follows is a mix of informal pairings rotating around the court, or king of the court rotations, for a fun doubles evening that often lasts until closing time! In the past we have offered youth and cadet training for youngsters, directing their energy in a way that starts developing their hand to eye coordination and basic technique! Unfortunately, our programs are on hold for the time being, but you can still contact us to rent the court and organise your own mini-Wimbledon!
